Support Worker – Children’s Support

Duties/Skills

Provide personal care, including morning hygiene routines and nappy changes.

Support with meal preparation, feeding, and administering supplements as required.

Assist with dressing, grooming, and school readiness tasks.

Prepare school lunches, bags, and supplies.

Engage the child in calm, positive activities.

Safely transport the child to and from school, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

Complete accurate shift documentation and communication notes.

Maintain a clean, organised, and supportive home environment.

Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.

Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, or related field (or willingness to obtain)

Current WWVP card.

Current First Aid & CPR certification.

Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
