Duties & Skills

Reports to the Onsite Security Supervisor

Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all workers and visiting contractors

Ensure relevant information and procedures are communicated to visitors prior to entering the site

Responsible to ensure all shift administration is completed to the relevant standard

Skills and experience

Must be the holder or currently working towards - Tas Security Licence (essential)

Current Driving Licence - Essential

Current First Aid Certificate - Desirable

Previous experience in a Security Officers position is highly regarded

Must be well presented at all times and able to communicate well with site staff and visitors alike

Must have a positive / proactive approach and work both in a small team and autonomously

Must be available to work across a 24hr 7-day week roster

Must be able to pass stringent company medical, including ongoing random D&A Testing
