Duties/Skills
Act as the facility's primary contact for the PALM scheme. Coordinate recruitment and deployment cycles for PALM scheme workers. Prepare and lodge visa sponsorship documentation. Maintain and update PALMIS (PALM Information System) records. Provide reporting, advice and updates to the HR Manager.
Onboarding, Inductions & Welfare support.
Compliance & Employer Deed Obligations.
Departure & Program Completion
Demonstrated experience administering or coordinating a PALM scheme, seasonal worker, or overseas labour program, ideally within an agricultural, meat processing, or similarly regulated environment.
Experience coordinating visa sponsorship, compliance reporting, or working with DEWR or the Pacific Labour Facility is a must.
Experience in pastoral care, welfare support, or community liaison roles involving culturally and linguistically diverse workers.
Working knowledge of the PALM scheme, including Approved Employer obligations under the Employer Deed of Agreement and Code of Conduct.
Understanding of the Migration Act 1958 (Cth) and relevant visa conditions for PALM scheme workers.
Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline are essential. Migration law or registered migration agent
qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
Working with vulnerable people check (employment registration) required for this role.
