Duties 

The Metal Fabricator is responsible for providing high quality fabrication of metal products as required by Kolmark Management. They are able to accurately interpret drawings, set up and operate fabrication machinery and develop layout.

Promote and maintain healthy and progressive client relationships.

Promote and maintain healthy key supplier relationships.

Maintain a positive attitude within the work group.

Promote safe and economical work practices.

Provide leadership and support to other tradesmen and apprentices.

Have sound knowledge of the IMS and how these procedures and systems apply to the tasks being undertaken.

Recommend improvements for the IMS system and standard practices.

Anticipate opportunities and potential problems.

Mentor and train apprentices and other workers

Actively participate in relevant training. Apply knowledge and training to tasks

Need to be experienced in MIG and TIG welding.

Stainless background preferred.

Relevant Trade Certificate

Industry experience preferable
