MAINTENANCE FITTER – FULL TIME

Duties/Skills 

The Maintenance Fitter is responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving plant and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the rendering facility. The role includes preventative maintenance, breakdown response, equipment installation, fault finding and continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety, environmental and quality standards.

Industrial maintenance experience.

Strong fault-finding skills.

Rendering or food manufacturing experience.

Welding and fabrication.

Ability to lift up to 20 kg, work in hot and odorous environments, climb ladders, work in confined spaces where authorised, and work overtime or weekends as required.

Safety-focused, reliable, mechanically minded, excellent problem-solving skills.

Essential - Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter and Turner or equivalent.

Current Australian Driver Licence.

Desirable -Forklift, EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights and First Aid qualifications
