Duties/Skills

Attend and address breakdown maintenance tasks during production.

Perform general plant and building maintenance work

Work alongside the maintenance team to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed on time.

Work with a variety of food processing equipment, including cutting equipment, packaging, Cryovac machines, conveyors etc.

Maintain mechanical operations for production by delivering hands-on maintenance, fitting and machining, welding, troubleshooting, repairs and breakdown support.

Work on project and plant upgrades as planned from time to time.

Experience in the following skillsets highly desired: fitting, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, forklift.

Ability to work in a varied role, as part of a team or individually, with high work standards and pride in work performed.

Medical & functional assessment required

Mechanical or engineering trade qualification required, minimum Certificate III or equivalent.

Forklift licence desired.
