Duties/Skills

Operate or locate (track) Horizontal Directional Drill rigs on civil and utility projects

Assist with equipment setup, operation, and maintenance

Monitor bore alignment, depth, pitch and drilling conditions.

Site labouring duties

Daily pre-starts

Completing relevant paperwork.

Confidence working around live underground services

Willingness to perform other duties

A good eye for detail

A genuine safety focus

Happy working in a team or getting on with it solo

Proven relevant work experience

Skills and experience

Knowledge of HDD techniques and tracking systems (Vermeer preferable)

RIINHB323D - Conduct Horizontal Directional Drilling (or equivalent) accreditation would be highly advantageous.

Qualifications

White Card

MR licence or higher
