Duties/Skills

Provide care for children with a focus on ensuring health, safety and wellbeing.

Set up and deliver engaging play and learning environments and activities.

Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Support children’s social, emotional and physical development through fun, play-based programs.

Experience working or volunteering with children (desirable)

A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development.

Hold or be actively working towards a certificate III or Diploma in Early Education and Care (desirable, but not essential)

Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (child-related activity – childcare services)
