Duties/Skills

Supervise and monitor prisoners and detainees.

Maintain security, conduct searches and manage property.

Respond to emergencies, incidents and medical situations.

Complete reports, records and case notes.

Escort and transport prisoners when required.

Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Resilience, integrity, maturity and sound judgement.

Ability to remain calm, assess situations and solve problems.

Good literacy, numeracy and digital skills.

Physical, medical and psychological suitability

Shift work - 76 hours per fortnight.
