Duties/Skills

The Mechanic is to service all plant and equipment whilst supporting the needs of customers through expedient and high quality repairs and maintenance within customer and branch environments.

The Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, repair and servicing of equipment.

This requires the incumbent to perform on site repairs as required, together with repairs and maintenance in accordance with service / maintenance agreements.

Experience in the repair and servicing of hydraulics, pneumatics, diesel and petrol engines, and heavy vehicles maintenance.

Experience in electrical diagnostics.Demonstrated understanding and the ability to apply quality control techniques.

Mechanical Trade Certificate or higher qualification.An ‘MR’ class license a considered advantage.An EWP ticket considered an advantage.
