Duties

This is a 12 hour per week (over 2 days) position

Provide a wide range of administrative and clerical support including:

Word processing, data entry, email

Filing/archiving

Reception duties including greeting community members, answering phone, taking messages, checking and responding to emails

Prepare and maintain banking and petty cash

Assisting with data and statistics on participation in House activities

Collecting and posting mail as required

Checking House supplies are adequate

Share information for staff change over

Work as part of a team and participate in staff meetings as required

Ensure confidentiality is maintained.

Work closely with and assist the Manager to, ensure Workplace Health and Safety standards are maintained.

Provide assistance as directed to ensure reporting requirements are met.

All other tasks relevant to the position, as directed by the Manager

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills

Ability to effectively use MYOB for accounting, wages and bookkeeping as a back up for bookkeeper would be a high advantage but not compulsory
