Duties

Degree in Bachelor of Health Science (Environmental Health) or other equivalent qualifications to thesatisfaction of the Tasmanian Director of Public Health.Demonstrated ability (or ability to gain skills) to undertake assessment of food premises, conductinginvestigations and resolving nuisance complaints, assessment of on-site wastewater treatment systemsand other relevant areas of environmental health;Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to the role of anEnvironmental Health Officer and demonstrated ability to make sound judgements and decisions in linewith regulations and authority;A commitment to providing quality customer service;Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workloads
