Duties/Skills

Specific tasks vary depending on the area assigned to, these may include:

Loading trays.

Working on a production line.

Packing products.

Operating machinery.

Cleaning.

Record keeping.

Measuring, weighing and counting products, materials and packaging at all stages of the production process.

Safe work practices are a part of the Processor role and include the following:

Reporting all incidents, near-misses and hazards to the Production Team Leader.

Participate in hazard identification and risk assessment processes.

Participate in incident investigations and return to work plans as required.

Participate in proactive safety programs.

Stop the job if unsure of the task or if there is an immediate risk to health or safety

High level of attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safety.
